I think these are a bit of how I felt after attending the conference. It was all about "how to be a professor" and I vacillated between feeling upright, strong, proud, and confident... Hey I'm already doing that... Yeah, I knew that already....That would be easy to implement and would improve things. to completely and totally knocked down and demoralized...I'm surrounded by fabulously smart and confident people and I'll never be able to achieve at that level . The conference was a wonderful thing, but it also was a rollercoaster. I think the invitation should come with a caution notice: "Will Learn a Lot but Will Go Crazy in the Process."
