It took me 4 tries to take this picture this morning. It's really REALLY freaking cold out. And these ice crystals had formed on my storm door over night. Except everytime I opened the door to take the picture, the storm door would fog up while I focused the camera and then you couldn't see the crystals. (I wasn't committed to the picture enough to stand out there in the cold.) I finally managed to figure out light and focus on the 3rd time the door was open and then take the picture as soon as I opened the door a half hour later. You can see the fog/deformation at the top creaping down.

I laugh sometimes at what I'll do to get a picture. This is a good one.
